Creating workplace well-being for changemakers (new interview)

Hey Reader,

A few weeks ago, I was interviewed for a video series about the U.S. Surgeon General's Framework for Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing.

I joined work systems engineer Dr. Katherine Sanders to discuss practical ways to enhance workplace well-being, especially during difficult times or when there isn’t 100% alignment with your values and your organization’s mission.

Watch the full interview here: https://youtu.be/2-a8ExjC5Nk

We also discussed frameworks and strategies from my book How to Thrive When Work Doesn’t Love You Back: A Practical Guide for Taking Care of Yourself While Changing The World.

If you or your team are struggling with workplace stress, overwhelm, or burnout, listening to this short interview is a great place to start for practical and accessible steps you can take right now no matter your level of influence or resources.

Also, if you don't have your copy of the book yet, you can grab yours here: https://mindfultechie.com/books

All the best,

Meico

P.S. The need for what you do has never been greater. You are undoubtedly doing great work. But you can’t give your best if you’re not at your best. If you or your team are ready to improve your well-being to increase your well-doing, join the next Virtual Wellness Retreat for Changemakers, March 29-30.

This retreat focuses on practices and strategies connected to the C.H.A.N.G.E. framework for well-being while well-doing. We’ll tackle the inner work AND outer work of lasting practical shifts we can make as individuals in the changing workplace.

TODAY is the last day to register for this month's session. Learn more and register here: https://mindfultechie.com/retreat

Otherwise, we feel like failures or that we aren’t doing enough. But real and lasting impact happens when we take time to rest, recover, and refocus. Slowing down and refilling your cup isn’t selfish or lazy. If you want to make a difference during this consequential...

This anguish has been front and center the last few months while training teams on Managing Change and...
